How we work / A considered approach

Good work starts
with listening.

We get close to your business, prove the value in real work, and help your team make it their own. You know what’s happening, why it matters and what comes next.

01 / Your path through an engagement

A clear next step.
Every step of the way.

Start with a fixed-fee Discovery Audit. Decide on implementation once the opportunities, costs and expected return are clear.

  1. 01

    Understand.

    Discovery Audit · 2–3 weeks

We sit with your team and follow real work from beginning to end. Together, we find where time is lost, assess the opportunities and agree what is worth pursuing.

What you leave withA measured process map, business case and prioritised roadmap.
  2. 02

    Prove.

    One focused workflow

We start with a useful, manageable change. You see it working with real inputs, and we compare the results with your current process before asking anyone to rely on it.

What you leave withA working first workflow, with the results checked.
  3. 03

    Build.

    An agreed implementation plan

We deliver the remaining work in order of value. Your team sees progress, tests the details and helps shape the system as it takes form.

What you leave withTested workflows, ready for everyday use.
  4. 04

    Make it yours.

    Handover & optional ongoing care

We train the people using the system and document how it works. Source code, accounts and access are yours. We can stay on to monitor, support and improve it with you.

What you leave withA confident team, clear documentation and full ownership.
02 / Confidence before change

See it work.
Then make the switch.

We run the new workflow alongside your current process, using the same real work. Your team can compare the results and understand the differences.

We keep both running for a full working cycle. If the outputs don’t reconcile, we investigate and fix the new system before anything is switched off.

A cycle might be a month of invoices or a complete onboarding period. We agree what proof looks like for your business.

03 / Before we begin

A few things
you might be wondering.

Costs, systems, data and what it means to work with a small firm. Here’s how we think about them.

Ask us something else
What does an engagement cost?

A process audit is a fixed fee agreed before we start, typically covering two to three weeks. Implementation is quoted per workflow once the audit tells us what is actually involved. Programmes are a monthly subscription. We do not quote implementation before measuring, because any number given at that stage is a guess.

You are a new firm. Why take the risk?

Marters & Co. was established in 2026 and is licensed in the DIFC. We are new as a firm, and we would rather say so than imply a history we do not have. What we offer instead is a first engagement that is small, fixed-price and self-contained: the process audit stands on its own and is useful even if you never work with us again.

Do we need to replace our current systems?

Usually not, and we will say so when that is the case. Most of the return in a small or mid-sized business comes from connecting tools that already exist and removing manual re-entry between them.

Will this mean redundancies?

That is your decision and not one we make for you. What we can tell you is what the process costs today and what it would cost afterwards. Most SME clients redeploy the hours rather than the people, because the same team was already behind on other work.

What happens to our data?

It stays in systems you own. We work in your environment and under your access controls, and we sign a mutual NDA before the first working session. Where a workflow sends data to a third-party model provider, we tell you which one, what it receives, and what the alternatives are.

Which industries do you work with?

Small and mid-sized businesses in the UAE and the wider Gulf, most often in professional services, trading and distribution, logistics, and clinics. The finance, procurement and onboarding processes underneath them are more alike than most owners expect.
